Nick represented us both in the purchase and sale of our vacation condominium in Ocean City.He took the time to understand our needs when purchasing the property, and offered guidance on what benefits and pitfalls to be aware of in properties in the NJ shore communities. When we decided to sell the condo, Nick was able to navigate a difficult negotiation with a buyer.The buyer was being unreasonable in their request for repairs to the property. As a result, Nick painstakingly took the time to enlist the efforts of our own third party contractors, to get OUR view of what the true cost would be to prepare the property for sale. As a result, we settled on repairs equal to 20% of what the buyer had demanded, and the transaction was able to close.What is incredibly special about Nick, is the pride that he takes in building relationships with his clients. From the first day that we spoke with him, it was clear to us that he has a tremendous passion for his work. A LUCKY web seach led us to a local realtor, and I can't tell you how blessed we feel to have found Nick Marotta of Fox & Roach Realtors!!!His business card claims that "Personal Attention is my Specialty", and that couldn't be MORE TRUE!!Long story short, my two teenage daughters and I came in on Saturday (my husband was joining us a few days later) and our rental was less than ideal. I got settled in and let the girls enjoy their first day, but sent Nick an email first thing Sunday morning. Yes, it's his job as my realtor to make sure I'm happy, but I certainly understand that there are some things that are just out of his control. Not only did he move us to a more suitable rental for the week, but he personally drove me to the new place to check it out and then drove me back to the beach so I wouldn't miss my family time; all the while changing his personal Sunday plans! Even though the new rental cost a bit more than the original, he took care of all of that, and there was NO additional cost to us!
